Nahoon beach is a beautiful, safe swimming beach with lovely soft white sand. The reef is renowned for it's great surfing waves
and many competitions are held there. Surf skiing is a popular sport and many surf skiers launch from the beach or river mouth.
The Nahoon river estuary is very popular for
canoeing and walking the lovely Dassie trail
on the other side of the river,
one feels like you're in the country
surrounded by fauna and flora
of the area.
The Footprints trail on the
Nahoon Point Nature reserve boardwalk,
is only a 5 minute drive away.
Here the footprints of a child were
discovered dating 200 000 years ago.
(now kept in the East London museum).

Springtide Studios is situated about 700m from the lovely Nahoon beach in the prestigious suburb of Nahoon Mouth. Newly built, these self catering studios are light and airy and have DSTV, music centres and wifi internet connectivity. There is a pool, gas braais for each studio and secure off street parking.
